Today students played board games using 3rd nine weeks review questions. We are still reviewing for the Alabama Science Assessment which will be given NEXT Tuesday, April 5th.

Tomorrow we will play reproductive system jeopardy. We have not yet studied the reproductive system; however, students may see similar questions on the ASA. This will simply be part of our ASA review and preparation.

HOMEWORK–NONE—SAT testing begins tomorrow with the reading portion of the test. Please be sure to get plenty of rest and eat a healthy breakfast.

Today students played 1st Nine Weeks Review Jeopardy to help them prepare for the Alabama Science Assessment on April 5th. During the next few weeks students will be taking the ARMT and SAT. Additionally, 7th grade students will take the Alabama Science Assessment which covers the 11 standards taught during this school year. We will be reviewing all 11 standards in a variety of ways in the upcoming weeks in an effort to refresh their memories regarding material taught earlier this year.

REMINDER: Testing begins Thursday, March 24th. Students should get plenty of rest each night and start the day with a healthy breakfast.

HOMEWORK–None…however, I did attach 1st nine weeks review jeopardy at the beginning of my post in case you want to review for the ASA.

Today students completed a Lung Capacity lab. This activity does not have to be made up if you were absent today.

Today students completed the Excretory System Notes and Diagram. If you were absent today, you will need to see me or a friend tomorrow to get the notes. The respiratory/excretory system test is FRIDAY.

HOMEWORK–Complete the The Excretory System Review Questions. Continue studying respiratory system notes and diagram and the excretory system notes and diagram.

REMINDER–The 3rd nine weeks benchmark in science is scheduled for Wednesday, March 9th. The 3rd nine weeks bellringer test is scheduled for Thursday, March 10th.

Today we took notes on the Respiratory System. We also discussed the respiratory system diagram. If you were absent today, you will need to get the diagram from me when you return to school.

REMINDER: We are covering the excretory system tomorrow. We will review the respiratory and excretory system on Thursday, and we will test on both systems Friday. We are covering these systems quickly, so it is imperative that you study your notes each night this week.
