About me

I am from Starkville, MS, home of the MS State Bulldogs. I came to Birmingham, AL, on a basketball scholarship to Samford University. I was honored of being on the first women’s team in 1997.

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, I spent a year as an intern for the Southwestern Athletic Association (SWAC) while coaching middle school girls basketball at Oak Mountain Middle. There I found my calling in education. I then earned a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Montevallo.

Currently, I am teaching Computer Essentials for 6th and 8th graders and Broadcasting for 7th graders. I coach Cross Country and Girls Basketball.

I consider myself to be diverse, fun, and outgoing. My ability to be nonjudging, imperfect, understanding and authentic helps me succeed as an educator. I’m blessed.

One Love,

Coach Clark
