Dress like a Soc or a Greaser!

Wednesday, September 27, 2017

Come to school dressed like a Soc or a greaser! Both Mrs. Acton and Mrs. Hutchings’ classes will participate. You must be in dress code (so no hats or switchblades or heaters) and be easily identifiable as either a Soc or a greaser. Costumes that are good will get a prize 🙂

Dress like a SOCIAL.

Gals, think pleated skirts, button up cardigans, headbands, Keds, full skirts with belts at the waist, and pearls. Think a “clean” or “fresh” look for makeup. Guys, think khaki pants or dress slacks, loafers, sweater vests, button up shirts, letterman jackets, blazers, and bow ties.

Dress like a GREASER.

Gals, think blue jeans, jean jackets, leather jackets, white t-shirts, Converse or black ankle boots. Think heavy black eye liner and bright red lipstick. Guys, think blue jeans, jean jackets, leather jackets, white t-shirts, Converse or black work boots. Think hair slicked back with gel/pomade (dear, lord, not baby oil).
