Monday, April 9th

Today’s Agenda & Assignments:

  • Get note cards checked by Mrs. Acton. If you were absent today, make sure I see yours upon your return to school.
  • With your team, categorize your note cards to look for missing gaps.
  • Use easybib.com to properly create MLA citations for your sources. If you were absent today, check with your group to see if you need to do any for your team’s sources.
  • Discuss problem/solution logic. See notes about what to consider as you plan your solution: ProblemSolution Logic Thinking
  • Catch up on any steps if you are behind and/or plan your solution (product/service idea).

Tonight’s Homework:

  • Long 6th Period tomorrow: Bring something to work on!
  • You need to be ready to commit to a solution tomorrow.

Tuesday, April 10th

Today’s Agenda & Assignments:

  • Answer group questions about your solution. If you were absent today, you do not have to make this up.
  • Re-watch Shark Tank clips, and discuss the set up of their presentations.
  • Create storyboard that is a rough outline of your presentation. Follow this template to help: StoryBoard TemplateInstructions
  • Presentation Requirements: 10+ slides, 2+ direct quotes, 1+ statistic, 3 sources
  • 6th period only: We went ahead plugged info into Google Slides.

Wednesday, April 11th

Today’s Agenda & Assignments:

  • Finish yesterday’s storyboards.
  • Type all information into Google slides.
  • 6th Period: Begin adding effects/colors/images to slides.

  • Play catch-up if needed.
  • Reading test tomorrow.
  • Dress for success tomorrow for the assembly.

Thursday, April 12th

Friday, April 13th

  • Continue working on slide presentations.
    • Today, we added animations/transitions, pictures, charts, and anything “extra.”
    • In each slide’s speaker notes, students typed who made the slide and who is going to present the slide.
