Advanced Placement Tests

All freshmen, juniors, and seniors taking an AP course will be taking their subject AP exam from May 4-May 14.  Please make sure you study hard, get plenty of rest, and eat a good breakfast.

The National Schedule for testing are listed below and AM tests are from 8am-12pm and the afternoon tests are from 12pm-4pm:

May 4: AP Chemistry (morning)

May 5: AP Calculus AB (morning)

May 6: AP English Literature (morning)

May 7: AP Spanish (morning)

May 8: AP US History (morning); AP European History (afternoon); & AP Art Portfolios due

May 11: AP Biology (morning)

May 12: AP US Government (morning)

May 12: ACT plus Writing Makeup

May 13: AP English Language (morning); AP Statistics (afternoon)

May 14: AP World History (morning)

ACT Plus Writing for all Juniors!

On Tuesday, April 28th, all juniors will be taking the ACT plus Writing so please make sure you get plenty of rest and a good breakfast!

College & Career Center Fieldtrip

Who: Interested 10th & 9th graders

What: College & Career Center Tour

When: Wed, Nov. 5 from 11:30-2:30pm

Where: CCC in Columbiana

Why: Did you know that starting your junior year, you can take classes at the Shelby County College and Career Center in areas like automotive technology, healthcare, cosmetology, or welding (just to name a few), in place of your 3 elective periods if you apply and meet their requirements.  Transportation is provided to the CCC if you are accepted into the program so it doesn’t matter if you can’t drive there!!!
