“If you would like a chance to possibly be published in the county Literary Magazine, please send your stories, essays, poems, or comics to Mrs. Kelley in the 7th grade hall, room 2, by Wednesday, February 3.”
We will host a parent meeting on Tuesday, February 2nd at 7:00 pm in the library for current 6th grade parents to discuss course selection for the upcoming school year. 7th grade parent meeting will be at 7:30 following the Beta Club Induction.
7th grade students will be making their selections next week and 6th graders will be selecting the week of February 22nd.
BOB will meet today (1/28) from 3:15 – 4:15 in the Library.
If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading at Chelsea High School, sign up with Ms. R Cook by today. Sign up sheet is on her door.
8th graders – The deadline to order 8th gr Panoramic Pictures is this Saturday, 1/29
If you are interested in participating in Track and Field, there will be an interest meeting Tuesday morning, February 2, in Mrs. Burdette’s room #3, at 7:20. Your physical must be up to date by Friday, February 5.
7th & 8th gr Valentine’s Dance will be February 19, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. – dress will be semi-formal. Tickets will be $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets go on sale February 16.
The 6th graders ONLY Blue Valentine’s Day dance is Thursday, February 11, from 3:30-5:30 admission is $10. Don’t forget to check announcements for your attire!
• Students will wear their dance attire to school on February 11th.
• Don’t forget- pre-order picture packages are due by Friday, February 5th.
• Ticket admission is $10. Tickets will go on sell February 1st. Make checks payable to ChMS.
