Any students who were scheduled for After School Detention this past Tuesday, have been rescheduled for this afternoon.
Beta Club induction will be February 9, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. in the ChMS lunchroom.
Parent meetings to discuss course selections will be February 9, 2016 in the ChMS Library. Parents of current 6th graders will meet at 7:00 p.m. Parents of current 7th graders will meet at 7:30 p.m., following Beta Club Induction.
All 8th grade girls who are interested in trying out for the Chelsea High School Dance or Majorette team need to visit the CHHS Stars blog and fill out the paperwork. Paperwork is due to Mrs. Moody by Wednesday, February 24th! Parent meeting will be held Thursday, February 18th at 6 pm in the high school band room.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Monday morning at 7:11 in the choir room for snacks and games. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are welcome to attend.
SGA is sponsoring a shoe drive. Turn in your unwanted shoes to Ms. Houston. Deadline is the end of February.
Coupon book orders and money should be turned in to your first period teacher by Feb 17. All ordered books will be delivered Friday, Feb 19. Checks should be made payable to ChMS and have a phone number written on the check. If you choose not to order coupon books, please return the sample book to your first period teacher.
Beta Club will be selling Valentine Grams during lunch. Cost is $2.00 for a bag of candy. All proceeds will go to Lymphoma Society.
FBLA is selling Yummy Heart lollipops for $1 each. Purchase them for your friends, teachers or that special someone for Valentine’s Day. They will be on sale in Mrs. J. Cook’s room, on the 8th grade hall, before and after school from February until Feb. 12th. All lollipops will be delivered on the 12th during 6th period.
7th & 8th gr Valentine’s Dance will be February 19, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. – dress will be semi-formal. Tickets will be $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets go on sale February 16.
6th graders don’t forget- your Valentine Dance picture order forms and money are due this Friday, February 5th. The Blue Valentine’s Day dance is Thursday, February 11, from 3:30-5:30 admission is $10. Tickets will go on sell this Friday!
