CHMS 5th Grade Parent Nights:
Chelsea Middle School will offer 2 meetings for the parents of upcoming 6th graders. They will cover important information about the 6th grade as well as answer many of your questions about middle school.
CPES – May 16 at 6:30pm in the CHMS cafeteria
FOES & MLES – May 17 at 6:30pm in the CHMS cafeteria
*If you cannot attend the meeting on your assigned night, you are welcome to attend the other meeting.
ACT Aspire testing begins next week. Our schedule is:
6th grade – April 17 & 18
8th grade – April 19 & 20
7th grade – April 21, 24, & 25
This is a very important time of year for CHMS, the results of this test will show our students academic growth and exhibit what a great school we are!!
Please help CHMS students perform their very best by ensuring your child gets enough sleep the nights before testing and eats a good breakfast on the mornings of testing.
As a reminder, cell phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices are not allowed in the testing rooms. 7th and 8th grade students will put all devices in their lockers, and 6th grade students’ backpacks will be locked in the auxiliary gym.
Due to scheduling conflicts with Chelsea High School graduation, the 8th grade banquet will be moved from Wednesday the 24th to Tuesday the 23rd from 6-8 P.M.
Any girl that is trying out for Starlet Dance or Majorette needs to turn in their paperwork by Friday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m.
