8th graders: let’s end this year with a bang! It’s not too late to reserve your spot at the banquet by turning in $20 to your English teacher. It will be held at Douglas Manor, we will have a DJ, and dinner is catered by Joe’s Italian. The banquet is on Tuesday May 23 from 6-8 pm.
Student vs. Faculty Softball Game! The whole community is invited to watch students and faculty play in a friendly game of slow pitch softball.

Chelsea Middle School baseball field.
Who:
Teacher and staff volunteers and students from the baseball and softball teams will be playing but all are invited to come watch!
What will we do?
The event will be a 5 inning slow pitch softball game between members of the ChMS faculty and ChMS baseball and softball players. Tickets will be $3 for students and $5 for adults. Concessions will be available.
CHMS 5th Grade Parent Nights:
Chelsea Middle School will offer 2 meetings for the parents of upcoming 6th graders. They will cover important information about the 6th grade as well as answer many of your questions about middle school.
CPES – May 16 at 6:30pm in the CHMS cafeteria
FOES & MLES – May 17 at 6:30pm in the CHMS cafeteria
If your child wanted to make course changes and did not turn in their course verification form by last Friday, May 5th, you would need to complete a schedule change request form and submit it with a $25 check made out to Chelsea High School.
If your child doesn’t meet the prerequisites for a course, a course waiver must accompany the schedule change form. Please see the counseling office to obtain these forms. These forms are due by May 19th.
A limited number of extra yearbooks will be on sale this Friday. The cost is $50, and they will be on sale in Mrs. Nivens’ room at 7:10 Friday morning. They cannot be purchased before Friday.
