The 8th grade banquet will be held at Douglas Manor on Wednesday, May 23rd. Money is due to your English teacher by Friday, May 18th.
The invitations to the 8th grade banquet were sent home last week. This is a student only event that will be held on May 23rd at Douglas Manor from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The banquet will be catered by Joe’s Italian. Dress is church attire, and students should be within dress code. Parents will drop off and pick up at the front of the venue. We encourage students to carpool, as space at the venue is limited. The cost is $20 to attend. The money is due to the student’s English teacher by this Friday, May 18th.
If you are a rising 7th or 8th grader and are interested in running Cross Country next fall please sign up and pick up a packet from Coach Marino on the 6th grade hall or Coach Burdette in Room 22.
6th graders who are interested in Youth Soccer Camp this summer need to come by the office for more information.
Auditions for the award winning Chelsea High School “Out of the Blue” Show Choir will be next Wednesday and Thursday, May 16th and 17th. For more information please see Mr. Mandt.
Awards Day will be Thursday, May 17th. The 6th grade will begin at 8:15 AM. The 7th grade will begin at 9:45 AM. The 8th grade will begin at 1:00 PM.
The students with all A’s for the 1st semester and 3rd nine weeks combined will be recognized at Awards Day. Please check your student’s grades in INOW to determine A Honor Roll. If you are uncertain, please contact a counselor.
All library books were due last Friday. Please return your books to the library ASAP!
The “Buy One Get One Free” Book Fair will be May 15th – May 17th.
Heroes, Cards, & Comics Club will have their final meeting this Friday, May 18th from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. Parents will pick up in front of the school.
