Canned Goods

Although it will no longer count as points toward the homecoming winner, each grade can still bring canned-foods on Monday to donate to Oak Mountain Missions! 6th graders turn in to Mr. Goodall, 7th graders turn in to Ms. Collins, and 8th graders turn in to Ms. Fagan!

1st Period Teachers, please count the number of students dressed for “Hunt Huskies Day” or Spirit Day this morning and email your count to Ms. Houston during 1st per.
Don’t forget, another way to win points for your grade is by bringing in canned food items! 6th graders turn your cans into Mr. Goodall. 7th graders turn your cans into Ms. Collins. 8th graders turn your cans into Ms. Fagan.

Dancing with the Starlets is a great opportunity for girls who are interested in performing on the football field as dancers, majorettes or cheerleaders. You will learn a routine after school and perform at the football game next week!! Get a sign up form from Coach Nivens or Coach Moody!! You’ll even get a t-shirt to perform in!! We will have a special appearance by Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Olaf, so don’t miss it!

See You at the Pole

Our annual “See You At The Pole” prayer rally is next Wednesday morning, 7:00 a.m. by the flag pole between the football and baseball fields. All students and teachers are invited to come and be a part of this event. It is a dedicated time of prayer for everyone affiliated with our schools in our town/community and across the nation.

Thurs. will be “Hunt Huskies Day” You can either wear camo or dress with Chelsea spirit. Hat Day will also be a part of our festivities on Thursday. Students can pay for Hat Day Thursday morning. You will need to see Coach Butler in the main gym to pay $1 to participate in Hat Day. Students will receive a stamp from Coach Butler on Thursday morning in order to wear their hat throughout the day. If you do not pay or have a stamp from Coach Butler on Thursday, you will not be allowed to wear your hat throughout the day.

Sixth Grade Math Night – 6:00 tonight

Parents of Sixth Grade Students,

Reminder: You are invited to bring your student with you tonight to our Sixth Grade Math Night in the cafeteria at 6:00.

This will be a very informal meeting where you can meet and talk with your child’s math teacher and experience some of the activities they are involved in.
