Today in class, students were given their goal sheets for this nine week to see if they made their goals in each class. Students that made their goals were rewarded with a dance today at school.

Tomorrow, we will go a field trip to the Alabama Shakespear Festival in Montgomery.

Friday is our last day and school dismisses at 1:00

Today in class, students were given back their mid-year, 2nd nine week assessment. We discussed and reviewed what was on the test. Students were also given their averages as of today, 12/16/13.

HOMEWORK – Grade sheets need to be signed by a parent and returned tomorrow. Students that return their  grade sheets signed tomorrow will be be given 2 points bonus. NO EXCEPTIONS if not turned in and signed tomorrow.

Today in class, we reviewed, reviewed, and reviewed!!!! It is very important that you know know your parts of speech that I have been stressing, stressing all year. Also, you need to know the strategies that we have covered in class on your study guide.  Below in Monday’s blog post is a copy of the study guide and you should have the study guide packet in your notebook. Study all of your notes, and use your textbook as resource to help you study. You should do very well if have been paying attention and participating in class.

Today in class, students were given graded papers back from previous assignments. We also discussed and reviewed expectations of what will be on the MID-YEAR BENCHMARK ASSESSMENT. Below is a copy of the STUDY GUIDE that was given in class. 

NOTEBOOK CHECK – notebooks will be checked any given time this between Tuesday 12/10 and Wednesday, 12/18. Be ready and be prepared for it to be check. If you do not have note book when your class is check it will be an automatic 25% deduction so please be prepared. 

Homework – study and review for the mid-year assessment using your study guide. Test will be Thursday, 12/12.
