Today in class, students were able to peer edited with other students about their writing. We also discussed  about transition and introductory clauses in a paragraph. Tomorrow, we will complete paragraph writing as a quiz grade.

Homework – Complete conclusion sentence and edit your writing for your hamburger paragraph.

Today in class, we continued our discussion on paragraph – graphi organizer. Refer to your notes to help with your homework. Below are the notes from class today.

Homework – complete graphic organizer, p. 4 or your notes. you can write on your notes page to do your homework. We will transfer that information to a final umbrella in class tomorrow. Remember – 3 details on the graphi organizer and take those to make a 3 complete sentences..

Caught ya #26 – finally the assembly was over and teachers filed out directed the striplings to the homeroom lists on the walls of the sixth grade hall and then pointed the various classrooms out.

Today in class, we began our last nine weeks of sixth grade English Language Arts. We began by cleaning out and reorganzing notebooks. We are beginning the Writing Process Unit this week. Students were given helpful definitions that they should already be familiar with. This will increase their knowledge of learning the writing process. We will have a quiz on Thursday, March 13th, only on definitions.

HOMEWORK – Study writing process definitions. Quiz Thursday, 3/13. 2nd Period – Grade sheets, parent signature and return tomorrow only, for 20 bonus points on any quiz this nine weeks.

Caught Ya #22 – as william waggish uttered the last word of his limerick the teacher nearest him twitched and nodded his head.  his eyelids fluttered his tongue protruded between his closed lips and wisps of smoke curled from his ears

I have reminded all students that owe work. It is now your responsibility to make sure that it is completed and turned in by Friday, 3/7.  NO EXCEPTIONS on late make-up work!!!  The grading period ends Friday.
