HOMEWORK – Make sure that you are prepared with your essay writing. Students that have corrections need to make sure that is completed by Wednesday.  You were also given time in class to complete today.

Today in class, we began working on our illustrations for our writing essay. We will also work on the illustrations tomorrow. Also, today was the very last dy for conferencing.

HOMEWORK – continue to study pages 1-15 notes. We will continue our daily skill activity assessments next week.

Computer Dates: These are the dates that the students will visit the computer lab to type their final essays. Please note – Final Essays must be written and approved by Nelson before typing out essay in the computer lab.

If essays are not completed during computer time. Students will have the opportunity to continue conferencing with Nelson during computer time, which will lead to missing computer time from not being prepared for class.

We will visit the computer lab on the following dates: 4/28, 4/30, 5/8, and 5/9. May 9th is the final date for essays to be turned in typed. 4th & 5th period, we will add 5/7 to use the computer lab sicne we were not able to visit the lab on 4/28.I have built in four days for computer time. It should only take two days to complete. However, four days were built in just in case there are students that may be absent, school field trip, etc. to make sure ample time is given.  If not typed there will be a 25% deduction.  No Exceptions!!!!

Due to the last two days (Monday & Tuesday), we had early dismissal du to inclement weather. There were no blog post for those two day. 

In class today and Monday, we visited the computer lab to type writing essays that we have worked on for the last two – three weeks. Students were given a rubric today on how they will be graded on the final essay. We discussed in class in depth the rubric. Please see the rubric below.

HOMEWORK: All work not completed in class, automatically is homework.
