Spring Concert at Oak Mountain High School Performing Arts Center
Formal Uniform 300 points

Students should arrive by 6:15pm and sit in their assigned seat.
Show choir students should also bring both show choir uniforms (undergarments and jewelry) in their garment bag.  We will do the costume change!

Last Day Assembly

AM performance – all choirs (150 points)
Informal uniform – choir t-shirt and blue jeans

PM performance – both show choirs (150 points)
Both Show Choir Uniforms with undergarments and jewelry – we will do the costume change!!!

OMMS Choir students should arrive by 6:45am wearing their formal uniform.  See the bottom of this email if you are unsure of what to wear.

We will depart OMMS via charter buses at 7am sharp and plan to return by 2:45pm.

Our warm-up/performance/sight-reading times are as follows:
Treble Makers (6th Grade) – 9:30/9:45/10:00
Girls – 10:30/10:45/11:00
Mixed – 11:30/11:45/12:00

12:15pm – all students eat lunch

Students will be allowed to bring a small snack for the bus ride.  Twist-top drinks ONLY.  No cans or juice boxes please.

Due to our time constraints, we will not have a chance to “go somewhere” for a fast food lunch.  Students may either bring their lunch from home or buy a sack lunch from the OMMS cafeteria.  We took a poll in class today to see how many students plan to buy/bring their lunch.  Weather permitting, there is a nice outdoor grassy knoll for us to eat our sack lunch.  If the weather is bad, we will have an indoor picnic on the bus.

Due to Gadsden High School rules, students will not be able to change out of their uniform after we perform.  We’re all gonna “tough it out” and wear the formal uniform until we arrive back at OMMS.

Our first performance will be Monday, Sept. 26th at 6:30pm at the Oak Mtn High School Performing Arts Center.

Students should wear
Navy Blue Choir T-shirt (tucked in), Blue jeans, comfy shoes (no flip flops)

Students should arrive
between 6:10-6:20pm and sit in their assigned seat.

Concert will last approx. 1 hour.
