MAKERSPACE PROJECT

Thanks to the generosity of HMS parents and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, our first Makerspace project for a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine was fully funded and we have already received the machine!

Our parents have been so generous that we had extra donations made above and beyond the amount requested for our first project.

Therefore, we have created our next project for our Makerspace on donorschoose.org.  Our next project is called Capturing our Creativity:  Using Video Production in our Makerspace.  Through this project, we are requesting a video camera, external microphone, green screen, and video lighting kit so that students can create and edit amazing videos.  We already have a tripod and we might be getting a computer donated for video editing purposes (fingers crossed!).

Through previous donations, we already have $100 applied to this project.  We need an additional $497 for it to be fully funded.  If 25 families donated $20, our second project for our Makerspace would be fully funded!

Thanks so much for supporting our students.  They are super excited about our Makerspace activities this year.

To donate to this project, click the following link.  Feel free to share this project with your family and friends.

RESERVED PARKING AND SEATING FOR FOOTBALL GAMES:

Reserved Parking and Reserved seating season tickets are still on sale.  Please support the Helena high School Football program and the Helena Athletic Association by purchasing your reserved parking and/or reservedseating season football tickets.  With the move to 6A and bigger schools coming to Helena this fall, the expectation is larger crowds.  Having areserved seat and/or reserved parking spot will be priceless.  Buy today.

If you are new to buying season tickets you may be saying to yourself what is special about ordering season tickets?  Your season ticket provides you an assigned chair back seat with your name on the back of that seat and your seat will be located between the 45 yard lines.  If you think about the number of people that will be attending Friday night football games and cheering on the Helena High School Huskies than you know 200 reserved seats will go quickly.  Having a reserved seat also eliminates the need to look for somewhere to sit and when you go to the concession stand or restroom you don’t have to worry about someone getting your seat.  The best part about ordering reserved seats is that you are supporting the football program.  There are currently 200 reserved chair back seats available and based on last year’s numbers we expect to sell all 200 seats.  I suggest you get your order in quickly and at the same time help support the Helena High School footballteam.

Ordering reserved season Football tickets is quick and easy.  By clicking on the link below you will be directed to the Helena Athletic Association website where you can either order season tickets or become a member of the HHA.  Make sure you click the tab for ordering season tickets.

http://www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/default.asp?u=HELENAHUSKIESATHLETICS&s=org&p=registration&formID=60791

When you order your reserved season football tickets you are not only getting tickets to all regular season varsity football games, but also all JV/Freshman home football games (Not including Home Play-off Games).  The cost of yourreserved season football seat and ticket is $100.00 per ticket.

Keep in mind that reserved seating is also a fundraiser for the football team and an easy way to support the football program.

Reserved Parking is now available to all HAA Members.  Reserved Parkingwill be located in the lot directly in front of the Field House.   Please make sure to order your reserved parking quickly.  The cost this year for reservedparking is $75.00 for the season and there is a limit of one reserved parkingpurchase per family.
