The Elvin Hill Choir and Shelby Singers are working hard on learning songs for the upcoming Shelby County Elementary Choral Festival. It will take place at Oak Mountain High School on Thursday, April 5. It is very important that all choir students attend all rehearsals so that we can do our best. Please make all doctors, dentists, and other appointments on another day. They are sounding great already! I think they will definitely impress!

3rd Graders

Third grade classes at EHES and SES will be starting the recorder soon. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn what it takes to read music and play a wind instrument. We are really looking forward to it!

Choir Concert

On Tuesday, April 20, the Elvin Hill Singers will perform their choral festival pieces for their parents and the 3rd through 5th graders.  They have been working really hard on their two songs, “Old Abram Brown,” and “Mountain Dance.”  The concert will begin at 8:15.

Elvin Hill Choir

All 4th and 5th graders in choir at Elvin Hill Elementary will rehearse on Tuesday, April 13 and Wednesday, April 14.  This is two of our last rehearsals before choral festival on Thursday, April 22nd.
