Each of you are very unique and so was the world on the day you were born.  Do you know what was happening in the world on the day you were born?  The-Day-I-Was-Born-WebQuest2

Answer the questions on the hand-out and turn in when you present to the class. You will then create a power point presentation using the information.

This week in Computer Essentials, we are going to put our final touches on our “Dream Vacation”

This week in BTA, everyone will be making their final touches on their

“Shark Tank” inventions and presenting them to the class.

Shark Tank Invention Project

You will need to keep this sheet and attach it to your poster.

In this project you will create your own invention and business. 

You must get prepared because you are about to face the shark tank (your classmates). 

For a complete assignment the following will need to be completed. 

1. An invention-25 pts
2. A power point  presentation- 50 pts
3. Poster- Your business name, logo, and slogan-25 pts

Wednesday- Watching the video on the shark tank.

You must decide what your invention is and what supplies you will need. 

You will need to bring in the items to create you invention tomorrow 0-$10.00.

Thursday- You are to create your invention

Does it work?__________ If not what are you going to bring in tomorrow to complete the invention

Begin to work on your power point presentation

Slide 1- Invention name, Business name and who are the owners

Slide 2- Supplies used to create

Slide 3 and as many slides as you need. Walk us through the step by step of how you created the invention

Next slide- How much did it cost you to make the product and

 give a realistic amount that you think you should sell the product for in a store

Friday- Discussion on Logos and Slogans

Create you poster board with your business name, logo and slogan

Go add a slogan slide into your power point presentation as the 2^nd slide

Monday- Will wrap anything unfinished and will practice presentation.  

It will need to be professional.
