Swagger is defined as “a self-confident mental or intellectual outlook marked by showiness”. Mrs. Thomas’ kindergarten class has plenty of swagger. They displayed their swagger in the library last week in the form of an elephant march. David McKee’s patchwork elephant “Elmer” was the inspiration behind the parade. Elmer is such a celebration of individuality and a wonderful example of the power of laughter. Elmer teaches us that we are happiest when we are truly being ourself.
