Can you believe we have already been in 1st grade for 100 days? We had so much fun celebrating!
We loved learning all about pumpkins and doing our pumpkin investigations! Of course, we had to conclude our pumpkin unit by decorating them for Halloween! Too much fun! 🙂
To the parents of Mrs. Martin’s 2014-2015 first grade class: I am so excited to be able to share all of the fun things we will be doing this year! On our blog, you will find details about what we are learning as well as important information about our classroom and school. Thanks for visiting and I look forward to a great year!
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for our end of the year celebration picnic! We will be celebrating all week long with fun activities. We would like all parents to join us on Wednesday, May 21st at 12:00 for our picnic lunch. Students may either bring a lunch from home or buy a sack lunch from the lunchroom. After our picnic the students will go inside to enjoy ice cream sunsaes! More details to come about the last week of school!
480 filled, numbered, and taped eggs were hidden for our Math Easter Egg Hunt! We used our counting and eliminating skills to recognize and collect eggs numbered 1-20. We had such a blast doing this! Thank you for your help and for making this fun time possible!
We were all tired after a fun filled day at The Zoo! We loved seeing the animals, riding the train, and having a picnic lunch! Thank you to all of the chaperones who joined us! 🙂
