Below are the summer reading lists for 6th, 7th and 8th grade GRC. This assignment is due on the third day of school.
Due to time constraints and the length of the novel, Chaos Walking Book one has been removed as a possibility for lit circles. I do apologize for the inconvenience. That book will be replaced with Catching Fire. If you have already purchased chaos walking, please let me know and I will be happy to trade another book of your choice.
6th Grade: 4/6–Literature Circles (the date has been changed)
8th Grade ELA: 4/7 Test on Criteria for source evaluation, quoting, paraphrasing and summarizing
8th Grade GRC: 4/7 Test on how to decode Shakespearean language
6th and 7th GRC: 4/4 GEP letters will be distributed and need to be signed and returned ASAP
Letters went home today detailing the book choices for 7th and 8th grade GRC students. The letters need to be returned by Monday, April 3rd, and the books are due in class on Monday, April 17th. Each letter has been uploaded in the individual class page and shared in Google Classroom. Please let me know if there are any questions.

Bellringer Quiz 2 will be on 2/10 for all classes.
6th grade: Literature Circles with novels will begin on Thursday 2/9
7th grade: We will begin reading the novel in class Wednesday 2/8
Students received the word list for the prefixes: ir, non and the root: graph on Monday. They have done practice exercises Wednesday and Friday in order to prepare for the quiz.
