Thank you all for sending in your awesome pumpkins! The kids were so excited to share them with our class. Mrs. Hogan, our librarian, has asked to display the kindergarten pumpkins in the library. So we took them down to her at the end of the day. Books came home today.
Thank you to all of the parents who made it to come and visit our Kindergarten Pumpkin Patch. I hope everyone enjoyed their stroll down the hallway.
The kids enjoyed getting to teach you some of the math games we have been playing at school like Roll and Record, Button Match Up, Attritribute Block Match Up, and Build It. I am so proud of them sharing what they have been learning about The Seven Habits of Happy Kids with you. They are all becoming such good Leaders! Thank you for helping your child with their scarecrow sentences. I didn’t intend on putting you all to work but you all did great! And lastly thank you for your patience at lunch. Ice Cream day is always exciting and all the extra bodies in the lunchroom made things a little more crazy than usual. We had a couple tears when moms and dads had to leave but I assure you all is was well by the time we got back to our room to our guest reader, Simon’s mom.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
**Remember if you have not sent in your t-shirt for Native American t-shirt painting to please do so as soon as possible.** If anyone is available to help Jennifer Brown, our wonderful room mom, with cutting t-shirts or dying them please let me or her know. She has already done such a great job with all she has done for our class and I am sure she would appreciate any help.
