Are you stressed out? Come to Mrs. Pastors class during your grade level GPS tomorrow and learn some yoga and deep breathing strategies to help
manage stress! Just let your teacher know you’re joining us and Mrs. Pastor will email your teacher that you’re there! Come join us!
Make plans this Saturday for the Community Yard Sale. You still have time to rent space for $30.00. See Dawn Cabrera or come by the main office.
Student/ teacher’s basketball game will be Friday May 11th . All students interested in playing in the game bring $5 to D to sign up. Admission will be
$2 to watch.

MHS Football will be selling laundry detergent, fabric softener and dishwashing liquid through Friday. Please see any football player or come by the main
office to purchase.
Attention Seniors: Forms to have your FINAL TRANSCRIPT sent to your intended college are now available. Final Transcripts are mailed in early June
and are required by colleges before you are allowed to actually enroll in a class. Please complete your form once you have decided where you will attend
college this fall.
Attention Students: Summer school information is now available. If you have failed a core course, you should make plans to attend summer school. There
are also options for students wanting to get ahead in certain courses. Find info in the Guidance Office.
Attention Seniors: Are you interested in obtaining training as a Dental Assistant? If so, the AL School of Dental Assisting in Montevallo is seeking highly
motivated graduates for its 10-week program. Find more information in the Guidance Office.
Students who have been selected to attended MES Play Day, Permission forms are due by Thursday to Mrs. Cabrera.

Softball’s last two home games are Tuesday and Thursday this week. Student tickets have been reduced to $2.

There will be food and prize giveaway opportunities at the games for students to win. Students must be present to win.

Sr. announcements will be delivered Thurs. morning at 7 am. Rep will be set up in the cafeteria.

Yearbooks will be arriving mid-May. Order yours now before they are sold out. Yearbooks are $50. See Mrs. Fricke, room 115, to purchase a yearbook today! 🙂

The Talent Show will be held on Friday at 1:30 in the PAC. Tickets will be available during Lunch starting today. Tickets are $5, and you must have a ticket to enter the PAC.

Attention Seniors: The Horatio Alger Foundation has scholarships through its Career & Technical Scholarship Program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Apply at application.horatioalger.org by June 15.

Attention Students: The Alabama Lions High School Leadership Forum will be held at Troy University this summer. If you wish to strengthen your leadership skills while networking with other leaders from across the state, be sure to apply by May 18. Visit www.ALHSLF.org.

Attention Juniors: MHS is in need of representatives for both Alabama Boys State and Alabama Girls State. Both programs take student leaders and immerse them in activities that promote greater understanding of civics and government. Interested students should see Ms. Allen.

Please wish the MHS Choir Good Luck as they go off to the University of Alabama to perform in the State Choral Performance Assessment this afternoon. This will be the first time that MHS is sending a choir to this prestigious event! GO BULLDOGS!!!

2018-2019 Course Selection Forms are due TODAY

TODAY is the last day to donate stuffed animals to HOSA. Drop box is located in the main office. You will receive 1 service credit hour per each stuffed animal donated.

Reminder: tomorrow will be EDay. Only 11th graders will attend school. School will begin at the regular time. All other grades 9, 19, & 12 will receive assignments via Google Classroom.

The Decathlon will be Friday . Pay $5 for all day to watch and participate in both Academics and Athletic events or $3 for just one. Money raised will go to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Wear your class shirt and help claim your class’ victory!

Last FREE ACT math tutoring – This coming Sunday from 2 to 4 in Mrs. Cabrera’s room

For $1.00, pie a teacher in the face for Pi Day, Wed. during lunch. The money goes to American Cancer Society.

Students Institute field trip is scheduled for Friday! Make sure you wear something comfortable and MHS!
