The Talent Show will be held on Friday at 1:30 in the PAC. Tickets will be available during Lunch starting today. Tickets are $5, and you must have a ticket to enter the PAC.

“If you are interested in joining the Marching Troubadours drumline for the 2018 school year, see Mrs. Underwood during 6th or 7th period to sign up and receive details. Clinics and auditions will be May 1-4 after school from 3:15-5:00”.

Attention Seniors: The Horatio Alger Foundation has scholarships through its Career & Technical Scholarship Program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Apply at application.horatioalger.org by June 15.

Attention Students: The Alabama Lions High School Leadership Forum will be held at Troy University this summer. If you wish to strengthen your leadership skills while networking with other leaders from across the state, be sure to apply by May 18. Visit www.ALHSLF.org.

Attention Juniors: MHS is in need of representatives for both Alabama Boys State and Alabama Girls State. Both programs take student leaders and immerse them in activities that promote greater understanding of civics and government. Interested students should see Ms. Allen.

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
