*No Baseball Practice

*Volleyball try-outs for 6 & 7 grade girls will be the week of April 3 when we get back from spring break after school from 3-5. Basketball try-outs will be the following week April 10-13 from 3-5.

Girls interested in trying out must have a written permission form and a current physical.  See Coach Jett if you have any questions.

*The Soccer game has been rescheduled for tomorrow at Riverchase at 6pm

Congratulations to the Archery team for placing 4th in the Prattville regional tournament last week.  Although the team did not make it to state this year as a group, our top 3 boys – Parker McKinney, Tucker Edwards and Jay Dreyer may have scored high enough to still end up getting individual invitations. Parker shot a 266 with 7 bullseyes.  He ranked first in 7th grade boys at the tournament and overall 11th place.  Tucker shot 265 with 11 bullseyes and ranked 2nd for 7th grade boys and overall 12th.  Jay shot 257 with 6 bullsyes and ranked 7th among 8th grade boys and overall 18th.  Archery members can go by and get your tournament results from Coach Jett.

*Congratulations to the student of the week:  Reyaunna Hunter Brown.  She was nominated by Mr. Banks.  Mr. Banks states that Reyaunna is very helpful to him in the Choir.  She is the secretary for the choir and takes all of the notes for all of the meetings.  She is also very encouraging to other students and does not criticize anyone.

*Congratulations to the following tennis team members for winning their matches last week.  In singles Ashley Scott, Veronica Ramos, Anthony Welsh, and Brij Patel all won their matches and in doubles play, Ashley and Kacey Sankey won their match as did Brij Patel and Anthony Welsh, and Veronica Ramos and Kayce Sankey.
