*Announcements:
*The Talent Show will be today at 1pm for $2.00.
*Archery Tryouts for next year have been moved to next Wednesday after school from 3-5 at the MMS gym. There will be an archery class during 4th period next year. Students that are trying out for Archery next Wednesday need to report to the gym on the first bell. Don’t forget to bring a note to carry your bow on the bus, and it must be in a covered container. No loose bows or arrows will be permitted. See Coach Jett with any questions.
*The Library is still closed today.
*The LOT Graduation Dinner will be tonight at 6pm at the Parnell Library.
*The 8th Grade Cookout will be tomorrow.
*Monday will be Awards Day at 8:15am. If you received a letter stating that you are getting an award, please let your parents know so they can attend. After the awards ceremony, the new LOT members will meet in the MMS Library for a reception. The MMS seniors will walk through our Campus about 10:30 Monday morning. Please cheer them on as they come through the halls.
*Remember that you will not be able to attend the end of the year activities if you owe money for textbooks, library books, or if you are failing your classes.
*Students being disciplined for dress code will have an hour deducted from spring fling for each offense.
*Tuesday is Spring Fling. It will cost $3.00 to go outside for the day and participate in or watch the Track and Field Events. After lunch, there will games and activities and concession stand items that will cost $1.00 each. Students may wear swimsuits if they have T Shirts and Shorts over them. All students must wear some kind of footwear. Please wear tennis shoes for the track and field events. Students not participating in Spring Fling will be in the Library.
*The MHS Baseball coaches will have a Bulldog Baseball Camp from June 5th –June 8th from 8-12 at Stephens Park this summer. The cost is $70. This camp is for ages 5-13. You can register the morning on Monday June 5th at Stephens Park or send a check to Coach Frankie Perez at 980 Oak Street Montevallo, AL 35115. For questions call 205-401-5353 (Coach Perez).
