DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

*This is Homecoming Week.  The game will be played on Thursday at 5:30pm. We will have a Pep Rally on Thursday.

*Tomorrow’s Dress up Day is Twin Day.  Thursday will be Spirit Day and Wear your Montevallo attire.

*Cook book money and order forms are due back today.

*Picture order forms and money are due back tomorrow.

*The Book Fair will be this week. You will attend the Book Fair with your ELA teacher.  Checks must be made out to MMS.

*Report Cards will go home on Thursday.

*This Friday will be break so don’t have any tardies or silent lunches.

*There will be a Future Troubadour’s Camp (for Color Guard, Dance Line, or Marching Band Members) for grades K-8th on Oct 23rd, 24th, 25th from 3:30-5:30 at MHS. The cost is $20.  The deadline to register is October 17th.  See Mrs. Underwood for more details.

*MMS tennis tryouts will be at the city courts by Parnell library on Monday and Tuesday Oct. 16 & 17 from 3-5 for 7th and 8th grade girls and boys.  You must have an MMS consent form and current medical physical on file.  Please see Coach Jett for details or if you need any paperwork

*The University of Montevallo is offering a Junior Tennis Sunday Funday on Nov. 5 from 1-3 and the cost is FREE!  Please see Coach Jett for a brochure b/c you must call 512-689-7212 to reserve a spot in the clinic.

* Congratulations to athlete of the month for August – Yulianna Gutierrez and athlete of the month for September – Fatima Gutierrez.  They both run cross country and Fatima also played volleyball for the 8th grade team.  Way to go ladies!!!

*Congratulations to the student of the week: Abigail Bryant.  She was nominated by Mrs. Lucas.  Mrs. Lucas states that Abigail demonstrated the character traits of service and compassion for her fellow students.  She voluntarily started helping other students in math class learn the math concepts.
