*The Honor Roll Party will be this afternoon at 1:30pm.

*Tomorrow will be COTS.  Also the students from Japan will be here in the afternoon tomorrow so please make them feel welcome.  Ambassadors please wear your shirts tomorrow..

*Math team members from 6th, 7th, & 8th grade need to turn in their permission slips for the Pizitz Math tournament in April.  We have to send in the registration forms today.

*Soccer has a game after school today at Calera at 5:30pm.

*Band students attending Solo & Ensemble will rehearse after school at the MMS Band Room on Thursdays from 3:15-4pm.  Please make sure that you parent is here to pick you up promptly at 4pm.

*Book Olympiad team members had a great day of competition. Four of our team members earned a 2nd place medal in the worksheet round: Dani Blake, Emilyano Hernandez, Katie Ozley, and Allie Tryon. We listened to April Henry, author of many murder mystery books which we have in the MMS library. Great Job!!

*Congratulations to the 2018- 2019 MMS Cheerleaders!

*No students should have cans or bottles of soda, Gatorade, or other drinks in your locker or in classes.  If we find any drinks, they will be confiscated and thrown away.  If you need water or Gatorade for an after school sports program, bring the unopened bottle of water or Gatorade to your coach the morning of practice or the game for safekeeping.

*This Friday will be LEAD.

*All math team members 6th, 7th, and 8th graders must return their permission forms to go to the county tournament tomorrow by today to your coach.  If you do not have a permission slip, you cannot attend the math tournament. Remember to bring lunch money.  The bus will leave by 8am tomorrow.

*Soccer has a game tomorrow (Wednesday) against John Carroll at 6pm.  Soccer will practice today after school.  The game against Thompson has been moved to April.
