You will be creating a digital collage of images and words representing the protagonist of your IR book. You will be completing this project in class on February 27 and 28. While you read your book, you need to write down at least 5 character traits of your protagonist. As well as your visual aide, there will be a writing component. More information to come when we get closer to February 27.
Your Notebook Test will be on Tuesday, March 4. You will need the following:
Writing Component: Write a solid expository paragraph identifying each character trait you have chosen and explaining how that trait is represented in your novel. (Ex. Hermione is loyal, because she sticks with her friends even when things get dangerous and she is forced to leave her parents.) Then, explain how each image illustrates or represents that trait. (Ex. I chose an image of Hermione, Ron, and Harry to represent this close friendship they have.) Make sure your MLA heading is on your paper. At the top of the page name the title and author of your book.
Due to our snow days, you will need your copy of No Fear Shakespeare: Twelfth Night by Tuesday, February 11.
Check the English Language Arts tab for today’s agenda.
It was great meeting everyone today! I’m looking forward to this school year.
