Ms. Rowland

Ms. Rowland has been  a media specialist at Oak Mountain High School since the school was built in 1999. She holds a Ed.S. degree and Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Alabama as well as a B.S. in Education-History from U.A.B.

Ms. Rowland has two grown children, both graduates of Shelby County schools. She is the grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren. Ms. Rowland loves to read and travel. Her traveling experiences include trips to South Korea, England, Scotland, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, and the Czech Republic. Favorite places she has visited in the United States are Hawaii, San Francisco, Arizona and the Eastern seaboard of the United States.

Mrs. Coley


This is the third year for Mrs. Coley to be a media specialist at Oak Mountain High School. She holds an Associates of Science degree from Wallace State where she played volleyball, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Athens State, and a Master’s degree in Library Media from West Alabama. Mrs. Coley is also the freshman volleyball coach, assistant softball coach, and the Gaming Club sponsor.

Mrs. Coley is happily married to Jason Coley. She has one daughter, Kollins. Mrs. Coley enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, and taking trips to the beach.
