Basketball…Are you ready to play! If you currently are not playing a sport, I suggest you get your body in shape by running a little bit around your neighborhood. It’s important that you are in shape as we plan to get after it during try-outs. If you haven’t been doing anything and just show up you will not make it. Try-outs will be the most intense it’s been since I’ve been coaching at OMMS.
The following forms need to be viewed, printed and signed by October 19, 2012. If your daughter is playing volleyball/cross country she will not need a drug form or concussion form. You should have also completed the Star Program.
The Handbook for athletes please read over this with your daughter and find an open space on the cover letter, sign the page, stating that both you and your daughter have read this handbook. Turn in only the signed cover letter page.
We will need parent help for transportation to games please fill out the form. In the section that asks for the amounts of Bodily Injury and Property Damage. Please DON’T guess, please put the specific amount. If you don’t know, please call your insurance company and they will tell you. Thanks!
The Star form -Go on line AHSAA.Com This will take some time so set aside about 45 minutes to go through the whole Star program, not just the first part. You must fill out the advanced middle school program of the star program. I will need a copy of the final certificate.
