A look at this week:
Monday we will begin a new drawing. I will give you a photo to copy.
You will divide it into quarters (1/4). I will provide you
a white sheet of paper cut the same size as the phot.
Copy each square of the drawing onto your blank
paper. Each square should be a different technique.
Use the following techniques: crosshatch, hatch,
stipple, and scumbling. Use a pencil. This is due on Wed.
at the end of class on 1/13/10. Thursday we will begin a
new drawing in pen! I will provide the pen for you. You will be
creating a simple still life out of pen using one of the techniques
you used in the photo drawing. This is your choice.
Pick your favorite because this will be a larger drawing.
Don’t forget, you can’t correct with pen! You must plan
out your drawing in pencil LIGHTLY first.
