David DiPiazza Named Coach of Year for Alabama by NFHS

David DiPiazza, head coach of the Oak Mountain High School Lady Eagles Soccer team, has been named the 2014 National Federation of State High Schools Coaches Association “Coach of the Year” for Alabama.

DiPiazza, who previously played and coached soccer at John Carroll High School, was hired in June 2014 to lead the Oak Mountain girl’s soccer team, the reigning 6A state champions. DiPiazza had previously won the award in 2009 and 2012.
