The Board of Education has approved new assistant principals for Vincent Elementary and Helena High.

The recommendation for Vincent Elementary School is Ms. Marlana Hodo.  Ms. Hodo has eleven years of experience in elementary education and is currently an Administrative Assistant at Wilsonville Elementary School. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

 

 

The recommendation for Helena High School Assistant Principal is Mr. Jeremy Brandon Turner.  Mr. Turner has over 16 years experience in public education and currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Vestavia Hills High School.  Mr. Turner earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and is currently working on a Doctorate of Education in Educational and Instructional Leadership at the University of Alabama.
