Chris Sims Hired as New Calera High School Assistant Principal

Chris Sims 

The Shelby County Board of Education hired Chris Sims as the the new assistant principal for Calera High School during a July 21 board meeting.

Mr. Sims has over seventeen years of experience in education and is currently an assistant principal in the Madison County School System at Sparkman High School.

Mr. Sims has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Education degree in Physical Education, as well as a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Alabama A & M University.  He is currently pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership.
