MATH BENCHMARK IS WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16th!!!!!

Students went over the Study Guide for our math Benchmark tomorrow and clarified any questions or misunderstandings they had today during class. I have attached the answer key to the study guide in case someone needs to review the solutions to specific problems:

Homework for Monday & Tuesday night will be completing & studying the Benchmark Study Guide in preparation of our exam on Wednesday, Dec 17th. Please make sure you have the study guide complete for class on Tuesday so we can review your answers and clarify any questions you may have!

Awesome classes today as we practiced a little “algebra” with our numerical expressions! Students should remember to substitute the value of the variable into the expression and always follow PEMDAS!!!!

Algebraic Expressions HW for 12-9-2014

We are in the home stretch in preparing for our Benchmark!

Students worked very hard today translating words & phrases into mathematical expressions. Take a look at your child’s homework/classwork! Some of these are not as easy as they seem!
