Monday – Slope Unit Continued Lesson 8-7

LT: I can identify the slope and y-intercept of a line on a graph and in equation form.

Introduction to slope intercept form

Guided Practice problems p. 439-411

Catch box activity to improve participation and engagement.

Debrief – Study Tip: x and y values; In rates of change, the x values always increase. The y values may increase, decrease or remain the same.

Lesson Plans Dec. 5th – Dec. 9th

Monday – Lesson 5-5 Solving Multi-Step Equations using Rally Coach.  This strategy encourages the problem solver to talk as they work the problem while being encouraged by his/her partner to keep up the good work when the perform a step correctly.

Monday – Review test from November 16th Solving Equations with variables on both sides.  Students will be grouped together to perform error analysis on their peers work.
