Sixth graders will experience their first Thursday afternoon pep rally this week. Most of my student’s brain switches will be in the off mode by 9:00. Therefore, I am moving this week’s progress check to Friday. Students who review a little every night–10-15 minutes for each of the 4 subjects– do far better on comprehensive exams.
Each student has had at least 3 official visits to the media center to find a book they like to read for their project. One of the biggest reasons for adolescent readicide is reading a book the adolescent does not like. If a student is reading a book they do not like
