Basic Information

Cheerleading is a year around sport, we will start practicing after tryouts. We attend UCA camp towards the beginning of June. Camp is REQUIRED. We meet together during the summer to practice cheers and prepare for competition material for the whole month of June. Football runs through August-October and basketball starts end of October or the first part of November until January. We compete in three competitions.

Standing Tumbling

  • Cartwheel – 2 points
  • Front  or Back Walkover- 4 points
  • Back Handspring – 6 points
  • Back Handspring Series (two); Cartwheel BHS – 8 points
  • Back Handspring Back Tuck or Back Tuck; Cartwheel Tuck – 10 points

Running Tumbling

  • Round Off – 2 points
  • Round Off Back Handspring – 6 points
  • Round Off Back Handspring Series – 8 points
  • Round Off BHS Tuck, Lay Out or Full – 12 points
