About Coach Nivens

My name is Michelle Seal Nivens and I am the Spanish teacher at Chelsea Middle School. I also sponsor the Stinger Staff and Academics First, I coach the volleyball and tennis teams, and I coordinate our 8th grade Graduation ceremony. I am a graduate of Kingwood Christian School ('96), the University of Montevallo ('00), and the University of Alabama at Birmingham ('03). I am married and have the most precious babies, Waylon born October 24, 2013, Crimson born October 28, 2011 and a Yorkie named Emma born August 16, 2008.

Yearbooks are on sale from September 1st through December 31st for $40. In January we have a flash sale from January 1-15 and books are $45. January 15th is the last day to pre-order a yearbook. You will not be guaranteed a book if you do not order online by the deadline. A limited number of extras will be ordered, but we often sell out quickly, so be safe and order early!!

8th grade personal ads are available to order online as well. Please order your ad by December 1st and use a current email address and phone number for the order. You will have time after purchase to create the ad, but if it is not completed by the deadline, your ad may not be available in the book.

We are a spring delivery school, so yearbooks are delivered in early May.
