Parents,
You may have noticed that between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m., parents are lining up in their cars on both sides of the Yellowleaf Subdivision entrance, with children coming through the highway crosswalk to be picked up. This creates a dangerous traffic condition for our children, parents, and the residents of our community. Chelsea Middle School students are not allowed to use the Yellowleaf subdivision entrance for pick-up or drop-off.
Please remember that the entrance to the Yellowleaf subdivision is not a proper location to park cars and wait for children to be dismissed from school and to be picked up as car riders. We appreciate your assistance in resolving this safety concern immediately.
