The 2013 Speak Up Survey is open for responses! Shelby County Schools have participated in this survey for several years. It is one of the few surveys that gives us the opportunity to collect useful data from not only our teachers and administrators but also our students and parents.
You are probably aware that Shelby County was recognized as one of the Top Five districts for participation (falling short to only large Texas districts).
We were number one in the country for having the most parent responses!
Also the following schools were selected to receive this year’s Speak Up 200 – a recognition awarded to the top schools:
Chelsea High Helena Middle
Chelsea Intermediate Valley Intermediate
Creek View Oak Mountain Middle
Montevallo Elementary Pelham High
Mount Laurel Elementary Riverchase Middle
Oak Mountain Intermediate Thompson High
Thompson Sixth Grade Center Thompson Intermediate
Let’s have Chelsea Middle as a top school this year. Parents, Students, and School Personnel: Please take the survey as soon as possible!
