The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) will be auditing the immunization records (blue cards) of 6th and 8th graders who do not have a valid exemption from vaccination. Letters will be going out this week to 6th and 8th graders for their parents to sign and return to school if they do NOT wish their child’s record to be evaluated by ADPH. No response will indicate that the parent will allow ADPH to audit the immunization record of their child.
