ChMS is excited to announce a new organization for the benefit of all students. We are looking for applicants for the Peer Helper program for the next school year.
Peer Helpers will be a group of diverse, enthusiastic students dedicated to making the school environment better for all of us. Peer Helpers will receive on-going training on a variety of topics and skills and will serve as peer listeners, mediators, tutors and ambassadors.
We’re looking for a group of kids with very diverse interests and backgrounds that represent the entire Chelsea student body. These students need to be able to work across different groups and stand up for their personal morals and values. Above all, these students have to be trustworthy, empathetic, open-minded and good listeners. The only academic requirement is no more than 1 ‘C’ each 9-weeks of this school year.
If this describes you, then we encourage you to pick up an application from your counselor. Applications will be due back no later than April 4th (the Friday after Spring Break).

Any girls interested in trying out for Starlets Dance Team or Majorettes will need to attend a meeting with a parent next Tuesday (March 18) in the choir room at 6pm. This date is in the tryout packet so don’t forget about it! Packets are available outside Coach Nivens’ classroom or from Coach Burdette.

The CHHS Stars Dance Team will be hosting the Miss Spring Pageant April 19th at Chelsea High School in the auditorium. The office has forms for girls who are interested.

If you would like to order one of the new ChMS tee shirts, stop by the office and pick up an order form.
