Congratulations to the baseball team for coming in second place in the Southern Conference Tournament after walk-off victories against Columbiana and Calera. Support them in action today and this weekend in their final tournament of the season at Hewitt-Trussville.
The Golf Team has a match this afternoon against Columbiana. They should be dismissed at 2:30 to travel to Magnolia Meadows for a 3:20 tee time. Please wish them luck as it’s their last match before the end of season tournament. Go Hornets!
The ChMS Talent Showcase scheduled for this Friday has been canceled. It will be rescheduled for a later date.
6th and 7th gr registration packets MUST be turned in by Monday, 4/14. The supply packets must be ordered and paid for on-line. No money should be sent to the school at this time – ALL fees and proofs of residency will be taken at registration in July.
Orders for Spring Pictures need to be turned in by tomorrow, 4/11.
Get ready for the Hornets X Games on Friday, April 18 from 3-6p.m. Cost will be $10.00. There will also be tickets on sale for a dunking booth and 3-man slingshot. There will be lots of games and fun! Get your team forms in P.E. to sign up.
You can purchase Live Blue/Hornets Wristbands in the office for $3.00 each. Wear your wrist band to the Hornets X Games and receive a free ticket to use at the dunking booth or 3-Man Slingshot.
Pizza will be on sale this afternoon in the gym lobby.
Today (Thurs) will be the Chess Club’s last afternoon meeting for the school year. We will meet in Mrs. Coxwell’s room from 3-4.
Volleyball tryouts for 6th and 7th gr girls will be May 5, 6 & 7. Please sign up with Coach Cordes. You must have a current physical to try out.
There will be a skills clinic for girls interested in trying out for middle school dance team or majorette. The clinic will be held Saturday, April 12. If you are interested, stop by the office for a registration form.
