Early Dismissal Due to Severe Weather Prediction

Early Dismissal at 1:00 p.m.
Due to the prediction and high risk of severe weather, all Shelby County Schools and offices will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. today. All after school events and activities scheduled for today are cancelled and will be rescheduled as needed. All After School Care Programs are also cancelled. Please implement your early dismissal plan. Please do not send field trips tomorrow as the weather is unpredictable at this point. We will update you as to a possible late start tomorrow as the severe weather develops, so plan accordingly. All major media stations are being notified through the superintendentās office. Please take the necessary precautions to make this dismissal as successful as possible.
