A message from SHELBY COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
This message is from Shelby County Schools. After attending an Emergency Management Agency meeting this morning regarding today’s weather, Shelby County Schools and offices will close 2 hours early today, Tuesday, April 29th. Based on information from the EMA meeting and the National Weather Service, severe weather may be entering our area during the time that buses would still be on the road if school stayed in session all day. Again, Shelby County Schools will have a 2 hour early dismissal. Buses will run accordingly. All afterschool activities and after school care are also being cancelled.
