ANNOUNCEMENTS
JUNA will meet this afternoon (9/23) in the library at 3:00. Please bring research you’ve done on your country. We will be finished at 4:30, make sure someone is here to pick you up at that time.
The first SGA meeting will be this Friday after school in Ms. Houston’s room. It will last until 3:30.
School pictures will be taken this Friday, Sept. 25th.
8th gr Scholars Bowl practice will be today and tomorrow (9/23 & 9/24). You will meet after school until 4:30.
Today is the last day to order comfort color tee shirts. All of the money goes to help premature babies. There are short and long sleeve t-shirts in blue, red, violet, orange, and mint starting at $20. Please see Mrs. J. Cook or an FBLA member for questions or to purchase.
Next week is Spirit Week. Dress-up days will be as follows:
Monday – Marvel Monday (dress as a super hero)
Tuesday – Turn Back Tuesday (dress from your favorite decade)
Wednesday – Wilderness Wednesday (dress in camo)
Thursday – Hornet Spirit Day (8th gr – Blue / 7th gr – White / 6th gr – Black)
Friday – Friday Fanatic Fan Day (Jersey Day)
Along with Spirit Week, we will have a canned food drive. Students earn points for Spirit Week by dressing up each day and also by bringing canned goods. High score wins “free-seating lunch”.
