Teen Night Out will be this Friday night from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. All 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to come join the fun! Cost is $10.00
JUNA Iceland will meet this afternoon at 3:00 (1/7). Bring your resolution books and all questions you have prepared for the resolutions you researched.
Attention 8th graders: 8th gr Panoramic Pictures will be taken Tuesday, January 12, at 10:30 a.m.
FCA will meet this coming Monday at 7:11 in the choir room. We will have games and snacks. All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are welcome to attend.
Students interested in completing your athletic physical examination here at Chelsea Middle School next week need to be sure to pick up a physical form from Coach Butler. The front of the form needs to be completed by a parent/guardian and returned along with $20 to Coach Butler by this Friday. The pre-screenings will be done next Monday during PE classes. This is available for any current 6th, 7th, and 8th graders planning on participating in athletics this spring or next year. Physical forms are also available at the main office window.
Beta Club will meet next Wednesday, January 13, before school from 7:25 – 7:40 a.m. in the library. All members need to attend.
Any 6th, 7th or 8th graders interested in participating in the ChMS Spelling Bee, need stop by Mrs. Spinks’ classroom, in the 8th gr hall, to sign up and pick up a list of words. The local competition will be Wednesday, January 13, at 7:15 a.m. in Mrs. Spinks’ room. Winners will advance to the District Spelling Bee on January 29.
If you are interested in participating in the ChMS Geography Bee, please stop by Mr. Laseter’s room, in the 7th gr hall, to sign up and get access to the app. The competition will take place the week of January 19.
Tryouts for Battle of the Books will be January 13th.
Art Club will meet this afternoon (1/7) after school.
