8th gr Scholars Bowl practice today
8th graders – The deadline to order 8th gr Panoramic Picture is this Saturday, 1/29
8th Grade Parents and Students: Mrs. Delaine, high school counselor, will be here Wednesday from 8-10 am & 12:00 -2:00 pm to answer high school registration questions.
Softball practice will be this afternoon in the gym
Baseball Players: Practice will be in Coach Ayers’s room and end at 5:00.
If you are interested in participating in track and field, please have your physical up to date by Friday, February 5.
SGA will meet this Friday after school until 3:30.
JUNA will meet today and Wed. this week; all meetings are mandatory. Today is our Dress Rehearsal; please remember to bring your costumes. We will be at Birmingham Southern all day Thursday & Friday; remember to check with your teachers to get any work you will miss those two days.

Students, if you received an invitation to join Beta Club, you must turn in your acceptance letter to Mrs. Edwards today (1/26) or you will not be able to participate in the ceremony on Feb 2.
Beta Members – all items for the Beta Club induction ceremony are due by Friday (1/29)
Girls and Boys Basketball pictures and Wrestling pictures will be taken today (1/26) at 1:00 p.m. You will need to bring your order form and money with you when we call for you to have your picture taken.
7th & 8th gr Valentine’s Dance will be February 19, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. – dress will be semi-formal. Tickets will be $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets go on sale February 16.
The 6th graders ONLY Blue Valentine’s Day dance is Thursday, February 11, from 3:30-5:30 admission is $10. Don’t forget to check announcements for your attire!
• Students will wear their dance attire to school on February 11th.
• Don’t forget- pre-order picture packages are due by Friday, February 5th.
• Ticket admission is $10. Tickets will go on sell February 1st. Make checks payable to ChMS.
